Please Read First

 

1.   I/we acknowledge that we have read the terms and conditions and frequently asked questions and fully understand the scope, limitations and conditions of donating an object to the WPCC.

 

2.   I/we acknowledge the listed condition of the object as its condition on arrival at the recipient institution, (WPCC hereby known as recipient institution)

 

3.   I/we declare that where interests have been held in the property by other parties, those parties have transferred their ownership rights to me/us.

 

4.   I/we have title to the property being given.

 

5.   I/we am/are transferring unencumbered legal title and full custody and control to the recipient institution. In transferring full legal title to the recipient institution I understand and accept that said institution, may make decisions regarding the use of the item that may include deaccession, exhibition, conserving or treating the item.

 

6.   To the best of my/our knowledge, the work has not been imported or exported into or from any country contrary to its laws.

 

7.    I/we understand the conditions of donating an object to the Education Collection.

 

DECLARATION:

By clicking submit I agree to donate the above Artwork/s and or Objects to which I have legal title, to the Western Plains Cultural Centre.  I understand that by donating the Artwork /s and or Objects to the Western Plains Cultural Centre I am transferring full legal title to the institution. Where the donation is in accordance with their current policies and is accepted, I understand that the Western Plains Cultural Centre may use the Artwork/s and or Objects in any way consistent with its aims and objectives.

 

 

DONATING AN OBJECT TO THE EDUCATION COLLECTION

When an object is donated to the Education Collection, including objects for the Education Resource Centre, the object shall be used in Education Programs with the public and with school groups. This may involve the handling and use of object that could lead to its damage or loss.

 

The WPCC takes reasonable care to ensure the safety of these objects, however due to the nature  of the Education Collection the long-term preservation and safety of said object/s can not be guaranteed.

 

However by clicking submit you acknowledge and accept that by donating an object to the Education Collection the long-term preservation and safety of said object can not be guaranteed.
