Presenting cutting edge exhibitions and programs, the Western Plains Cultural Centre aims to challenge, connect and reflect our community and share the culture of Western NSW with our visitors.

WALLACE & MCGEE ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS

 

Wallace & McGee and Walmac Constructions were instrumental in constructing many important buildings in Dubbo, and many towns in the region. Three photo albums have been compiled covering the period 1922-1964 and feature photos of their construction projects.

DUBBO REGIONAL MUSEUM

This is the history of Dubbo told through the people who live here. Stories of hardship, perseverance, ingenuity, tragedy and joy. A permanent exhibition that can be viewed throughout the year, or incorporated into any tour or educational group.

COMMUNITY ARTS CENTRE

This is the home for all our cultural programming.  Our Black Box Theatre supports youth theatre programs and film events, while immersive educational opportunities are available across a range of topics relating to the WPCC's collections and exhibitions, and sites of special historical and cultural interest around Dubbo.
